Background:
Kiyoshi Kobayashi started his musical career as a classical guitarist and in 1975 made his recording debut as a backup musician.  Kobayashi-san taught jazz guitar for 8 years at the Musashino Academy of Musicae during which time he joined the Tokyo Hot Club Band.  He was the first Japanese to perform at the Django Reinhardt festival in France.  Kobahashi's ukulele career began in 1995 when he joined the uke-centric Sababian Cafe.  Since that time he's become a virtual legend  performing, writing, and teaching ukulele.

Kobayashi-san's work is so expansive it would require more space than I have here to catalog it.  Instead, visit his website for a full catalog of his accomplishments

Below are links to some of Kobayashi's CDs and Books or look for CDs and books in our store.
